We offer several different training products, all related to OBM. All our products are sold under license to the general public by our Certified Partners. Please note that we are NOT a training company. You will learn more about our OBM Level Training series of products on this page.

The OBM Level Training series of products for participants consists of a three-tier growth model, that participants have to follow in a specific order.
These trainings are based on the successful range of Certified OBM educational products and developed in cooperation with the ADRIBA Institute of VU University Amsterdam (The Netherlands). Since 2011, ADRIBA has trained and certified hundreds of people from over thirty different countries at Advanced Bachelor/Master Degree level.
Especially the OBM Summer School at the VU University Amsterdam is a good example: within only three years, this two-week OBM Course has become one of the most popular and highly valued courses of the entire Summer School of the VU University Amsterdam. People from all over the world come to Amsterdam to learn about OBM! It is an interesting fact that, regardless of culture, color or creed, the average score on the evaluation forms is higher than 9/10.
We were both very much involved in the development and teaching of these products and that inspired us to also develop a few products for non-Bachelor degree holders. On top of that, OBM Dynamics B.V. has developed Train-the-Trainer products relating to the OBM Level Training series of products for training organizations. These are actually called Train-the-Instructor products (TTIs).
1. The OBM Foundation Level Training
This training is now available and lays the foundation for knowledge on organizational behavior, performance and how to influence both.
Basically it is all about learning the principles of how to “bring out the best in people”, a paraphrase of one of the founding fathers of OBM, Dr. Aubrey C. Daniels, PhD.
The training consists of two days or four dayparts, depending on your client’s needs and wishes. We even have partners who sell it as a three day course, adding more time for discussion and excercises.

Day 2:
- Dealing with problem behavior
- Protocol for OBM: 7 steps for increasing performance

Goals
Participants will:
- Get an in-depth introduction in OBM theory
- Get acquainted with general concepts of the ABC model and the OBM Protocol
- Learn how to specify and pinpoint performances
- Learn about measurement of the necessary behaviors
- Learn about analyzing desired and undesired behaviors
- Learn about available interventions to really improve the performance
- Learn about dealing with unwanted behavior
- Learn about the astonishing power of positive reinforcement
- Learn from the trainer's examples
- Learn from other participants / other cases
Examination
Partners and Instructors may choose how and when to have this training followed-up by the official exam. In order for a Partner to be able to buy and invigilate the exam, they need to acquire the status of an Accredited Training Organization of APMG International first.
The training is comparable to the level of training that participants receive when enrolling in courses like e.g. ITIL Foundation, AgilePM Foundation or Lean Six Sigma Yellow / Green Belt.
2. The OBM Practitioner Level Training
This training is based on the successful Certified OBM Practitioner training from VU University Amsterdam (The Netherlands) in which participants apply in practice the knowledge obtained in the OBM Foundation Level Training. By referring to an actual existing case in their own organization, participants learn how to make a difference by implementing OBM, as they are applying it to a real-life situation.
As a result of this particular approach, the training will last several months (lead time). The actual contact hours with the trainer are, however, limited to several days dispersed over those months.
Contents & Goals
This training entails:
- A refresher of OBM theory
- Additional theory in and examples of the practical use of the Protocol
- Learning how to apply OBM in practice using a specially developed online Case Management system called the OBM Optimizer
- Learning how to specify the performances needed in the real-life case
- Learning how to measure the necessary behaviors
- Learning how to analyze desired and undesired behaviors
- Learning how to apply interventions to really improve the performance
- Coaching on their project
- Learning from other participants / other cases
Examination
The training is comparable to the level of training that participants receive when enrolling in courses like e.g. ITIL Practitioner / Intermediate, AgilePM Practitioner or Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
3. The OBM Expert Level Training
The opportunities for the application of OBM in business are plentiful. With the OBM Expert Level Training, participants could become an expert in their own specific area of competence. They obtain in-depth knowledge and experience in the application of OBM within their field of expertise.
Contents & Goals
This training is still under development and for the participants it will entail:
- A refresher of the OBM theory
- Additional theory of the application of OBM to wide-spread culture change
- Examples of the practical use of the protocol throughout the whole organization and learn how to use the Performance Matrix
- Learning how to apply OBM in practice at organization level using the advanced enterprise edition of a specially developed online Case Management system called the OBM Optimizer
- Coaching on their project
- Learning from other participants / other cases
Examination
The training is comparable to the level of training that participants receive when enrolling in courses like e.g. ITIL Expert or Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt.

At OBM Dynamics we use the term OBM Instructor, as we do not only teach and train, we also help people to successfully apply the concepts from the OBM body of knowledge by giving them specific instructions.
OBM is a very precise method that needs some getting used to, and this requires the attention of very competent OBM Instructors.
