In partnership with APMG International, we are delighted to announce the launch of the OBM Practitioner level certification, building on the popularity of OBM Foundation training and certification.

What is OBM?

Organizational Behavior Management (OBM) is an approach that enables organizations to unlock the potential of improved behaviors to translate into greater performance, productivity and profitability.

It is a scientifically proven method for optimizing organizational performance by combining a 7-step protocol with hard data and a focus on positive change of behaviors. Described as one of the best-kept secrets in the consulting industry and often referred to as “the science of success”, OBM has been successfully applied since the 1950s in hundreds of companies in over 50 countries.

OBM training and certification

OBM Foundation Level Training™ features a 2-day training course and exam designed to equip managers and leaders with the knowledge to successfully adopt and apply OBM. The Foundation exam is available in English, Dutch and German. Certification is a prerequisite for joining the OBM Practitioner Level Training.

OBM Practitioner Level Training™ features a further 1-day training course and a 6-month coaching period in which candidates learn to apply OBM theory to a real case in their own organization. With the help of an online platform and their coach, candidates will design, implement and manage a performance improvement plan (PIP). The PIP will reflect how OBM is applied to a real-life situation in which an organizational performance challenge is tackled using the OBM approach and principles.

Training is a mandatory requirement for all students wishing to complete the exam/s and achieve certification.

Partner & Trainer Requirements

For our existing Certified Partners, to extend scope to Practitioner: 

• Trainers will need to complete a performance improvement plan (PIP) in the online platform which must be be certified as meeting all requirements.
• OBM Practitioner course materials must be licenced from OBM Dynamics.
