Xebia and OBM Dynamics sign Partnership agreement
On June 24th 2020, Xebia announced a new partnership with OBM Dynamics. With this partnership, Xebia is able to offer Organizational Behavior Management (OBM) training and certification. With the help of OBM, leaders can design practical strategies that can be used to positively impact behavior within organizational transformation processes.
Many initiatives and programs around Digital Transformation and the introduction of an Agile/ DevOps way of working are focusing on technology, e.g. automated software delivery pipelines and self-service Cloud platforms. In fact, advanced technology can lead to major improvements, but the truth is, that the full leverage of business value creation is tied to changes in people’s behavior. How the team members are aligned, how communication is organised and how leadership is manifested, is not depending on technology shifts. It’s about how humans (inter)act.
About OBM Training
OBM instigates methods to improve human performance leading to an improvement in business goals. The three-day Foundation training is a hands-on course, based on a variety of scientific resources that is actively supported by ADRIBA (the Aubrey Daniels Research Institute for Behavior Analysis, part of the VU University in Amsterdam).
By understanding how to influence behaviour, leaders can start to better understand and manage people at work, curating a culture that contributes to meeting strategic goals and improve business value.
Used successfully worldwide for over 40 years, OBM has a proven track record of improving organizational performance in every field of business, in hundreds of reported cases.
Joost Kerkhofs & Robert den Broeder (Founders & Directors, OBM Dynamics B.V.) say: “People love change! As long as they benefit from it themselves! The training and certification draws from a wealth of scientific studies, bringing to life how behaviour can impact organizational change.
We have trained hundreds of leaders in the Netherlands. Since 2010 we have collected an impressive number of cases on how OBM has successfully helped public and private organisations to achieve their goals. These cases have shown that behavior is the key to successfully apply best practices, frameworks and management philosophies such as Agile, DevOps, Scrum and Lean.”
“We see a definite need for our customers to apply the OBM approach to optimize behavior for better business outcomes as a critical success factor for their DevOps transformations.” Martin van Steenis, manager DevOps practice
